That's a really tough situation. After all, letting go is one of the hardest thing to do, even if there are certain compensations in its exchange.

Do you have any advice for a startup that *wants* to sell. Are there any marketplaces that deal with startups. [ex: 1 year, broke even, good domains, strong relationships, steady sales, etc]

I would add, "Do I have to come along with the deal?".

Separating yourself emotionally is one thing, trying to do that while still be involved day to day post acquisition is an entirely different challenge.
